About Me.
Throughout my extensive 30-year journey in the court system, I've relentlessly pursued growth and excellence as a results-driven individual. As the Court Executive Officer for Bernalillo County Metropolitan Court, I've embraced the opportunity to make a difference in people's lives and lead our community towards a brighter future.
Innovative ideas and transformative protocols have been at the heart of my leadership, shaping the New Mexico Judiciary and garnering accolades statewide. I take pride in my ability to effectively manage budgets, plan strategically, and uphold the highest standards of ethics in all that I do.
While working at the Court, I had the honor of being elected as the chairman of the Court Executive Officers Council for a period of nine years. During this time, I had the opportunity to work closely with other esteemed court executives from various regions across the state. Together, we endeavored to
contribute to the improvement of our judicial system by shaping policies and practices that aimed to benefit all involved. It was a humbling experience to be entrusted with such a role by my peers, and I'm grateful for the collaborative efforts we shared in striving for positive change.
My involvement extends to the community, where I've coached high school baseball and softball teams, sharing my passion for mentorship and growth. During my pursuit of a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice, I delved into the fascinating world of law and its impact on society. Throughout my studies, I gained a comprehensive understanding of criminal behavior, legal processes, and the intricacies of our justice system. Being the first in my family of 13 siblings to achieve a college degree, I am immensely proud of this accomplishment, and it has inspired the next generation in my family to believe in the possibility of achieving their dreams through education and hard work.
